Masseto Toscana is a rare and iconic Merlot-based wine from the sun-kissed hills of Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast. Crafted from a single-vineyard parcel with distinctive blue-grey clay soils, it exudes deep aromatics of ripe blackberry, violet, crushed stone and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate the wine is powerful yet refined: plush black-fruit concentration, polished tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish that speaks of both elegance and terroir. This is a wine of stature — best enjoyed after some bottle age, yet compelling now for the collector or serious enthusiast.
